Construction forward look w/c 20th April

As part of our commitment to providing regular updates for local residents during this period of lockdown please find some information below for the week commencing 20th April. Please note that as we continue to operate strict working guidelines all our schedules are subject to change due to the level of available workforce.

During this week we will be taking out some flooring, including concrete, timber and soil in Block F and will be using excavators and diggers.

Over the forthcoming weeks we will be working on the roof of Block F closest to the Railway Path and taking out some blocks at the Co-Operation Road end. There will be workforce on the scaffolding and excavators and tippers both inside and outside.

We will be installing a temporary water supply to Block F to reduce dust and debris as we strip the roof and have another portable water bowser that we can move around site to where it is needed.

We have now delayed the start of work to 9am for internal works to Block F whilst the lockdown continues. We continue to monitor the noise and vibration levels daily to ensure they are within permitted levels. However we understand with everyone in lockdown this can still be disruptive so we are currently investigating extra equipment and different working practices to further reduce noise – please bear with us whilst we plan and put these into practice.

Please note we continue to respond daily to the evolving situation and the work we have planned may sometimes change. We will do our best to keep you updated with any material changes that may affect you.

On social media please follow @ChocFactoryBris on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as we will keep this updated with any news.
