Moving in to raise a family – The Chocolate Factory

Moving in to raise a family

With a baby on the way the latest family to move into The Chocolate Factory in Bristol believe they have found the perfect place to raise a family.

The three-bedroom mid terrace home provides the space for the new arrival but the Bristol-born mum-to-be has found it offers much more as she settles into life in BS5.

She said: “We were really attracted by the character of the house. It is on a new-build part of The Chocolate Factory, but it is quirky and has a different feel to most new homes with some unusual features.

“Since we have moved in we have been even more impressed by the local community, and everyone has been very welcoming. We also like the future plans for the neighbourhood with green spaces, community areas and some small businesses supporting the local community and providing facilities.

“I grew up in Bristol but have lived abroad and it is wonderful to come home. The city environment suits us but this is a good compromise as it is close to town but with more green space around.

“Being alongside the Bristol Bath Railway Path was also a big part of the decision to move here for my partner, who is a keen cyclist. It gives us the option to commute to Bath for work in the future if we need to and it is an easy way to get into the centre of Bristol.

“Above all it is the feeling of joining an established Bristol community with everything we need on the doorstep that convinced us this was a good move, and we love it here.”
