OVER 120 ARTISTS CONFIRMED FOR BS5 ART TRAIL

Over 120 artists and makers will exhibit their work at venues across BS5 next weekend.

Celebrating creativity in the city the BS5 Art Trail will cover the communities of St George, Greenbank, Easton, Whitehall and Redfield giving visitors the chance to view talented artists and explore the area and its venues.

The event takes place 11am-5pm on 20 and 21 May and is the third annual event of its kind, this year even bigger and better than previous years.

Mya Castillo, sales and marketing consultant for The Chocolate Factory, which is one of the venues opening its doors for the trail, said: “This event is really proving its popularity and rightly so with such talent on display! In 2021 80 artists took part and this year there is over 120 so we’re really excited to be part of it again.

“We have 10 incredible artists showcasing their wares at our Visitor Centre and across the development and we’re looking forward to welcoming people through the doors as well as offering our residents an exciting event right on their doorstep.”

Appearing at The Chocolate Factory will be DesignJo, Extempore Art, Ingsu Jewellery, Jo Peake Creates, Jonny Verrell, Laboratory of Things, Laura Calvert, Lisa Travers, Ruth Frost and Veri Beri Art.
